Early oak bachelors chest (Ref: 007) - £2550
A period oak bachelors chest circa 1710 - 1720. A very rare piece of period oak which I am very pleased to have in stock, these chests are seldom found especially in oak. Of compact size and with a turn over top which rests on slide supports, it has eight drawers and stands on bracket feet. Made to carry a gentleman's possessions with him on his travels providing him with storage and a writing desk or table. Measuring 30 inches wide 17 inches deep and 32 inches high.
