When we hear and or use the phrase early oak, we’re referring to that wonderful material that comes from trees.  For many decorating and interior design themes, the beauty of oak cannot be bettered.  Take the sitting room for example, there’s the wooden hobby/craft table that sits near the window so you can quietly get get on with your work and enjoy the views . . . Then maybe the dining set – what can be more satisfying than sitting down to eat en famille around a beautiful wooden oak table and chairs.  The way we deal with interior care of our homes and the decor is down to personal taste but an element of sustainability must be a factor.  Wood does last for centuries and it lends itself to all kinds of settings for furniture and effects.   For me the most wonderful thing about helping out in heritage properties is being surrounded by very early oak and knowing there have been generations before me enjoying this fantastic resource is most pleasing.
